Suspend Membership (But Keep Your App & Program Access)

By submitting this form, you agree to:

  • Suspend your membership (pause club and service access) including (if applicable) 24hr/unstaffed access
  • Pause any recurring automatic debit(s) linked to your membership for the suspension period
  • Keep access to your training app and program during the suspension (app access fee applies)

What’s Included

  • Continued access to your training app and your exercise program
  • Ongoing messaging support with your coach (if applicable)

This is a great option if you’re travelling, injured, or pausing in-person training, but want to stay consistent whilst away.

Suspension Rules

  • Suspension requests must be submitted via this form
  • We require a minimum of 3 days’ notice before your requested suspension start date
  • Suspensions cannot be applied retrospectively
  • Each suspension must be for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 12 weeks
  • You must provide an end date when submitting your request
  • Your membership will automatically resume on the end date you select

App Access Fee

To keep your app/program access running during your suspension, a $10/week fee applies.
This fee is charged automatically during your suspension period.

How Billing Works

  • If a payment is due before your suspension start date, it will still be charged
  • During your suspension, your usual membership billing pauses
  • Your membership billing resumes after the suspension end date you select
  • The $10/week app access fee will be charged automatically during your suspension

Example:
– You suspend from 8 Sep to 21 Sep.
– Your membership billing pauses during that period.
– The $10/week app fee is charged during the suspension.
– Your membership billing resumes after Sep 21.

Other Key Points

  • A suspension is not a cancellation. If you want to cancel, submit your request at www.5ew.com.au/cancellations/
  • It is the member’s responsibility to manage suspension dates (including the end date you submit). Billing automatically resumes based on the end date you choose
  • We may send courtesy reminders as a customer service measure, but members must not rely on reminders as a requirement or obligation
  • If you don’t receive a suspension confirmation email within 7 business days, contact support@5ew.com.au
  • If you want to resume earlier, email support@5ew.com.au
  • This option is for members who want to pause facility access including (if applicable) 24hr/unstaffed access but keep app/program access
  • If you submit a cancellation request while your membership is on suspension, the suspension will end as of the cancellation request date and the membership will reactivate for the required 14-day cancellation notice period
