MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSION REQUEST

By submitting this form, you agree to:

  • Suspend your membership (pause club and service access) including (if applicable) 24hr/unstaffed access
  • Pause any recurring automatic debit(s) linked to your membership for the suspension period
  • Confirm you have selected a suspension end date (billing resumes automatically after this date)

Suspension Rules

  • Suspension requests must be submitted via this form: https://5ew.com.au/suspension/
  • We require a minimum of 3 days’ notice before your requested suspension start date
  • Suspensions cannot be applied retrospectively
  • Each suspension must be for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 12 weeks
  • You must provide an end date when submitting your request
  • Your membership will automatically resume on the end date you select

How Billing Works

  • If a payment is due before your suspension start date, it will still be charged
  • During your suspension, access and automatic billing are paused
  • Your next payment will resume after the suspension end date you select
  • Your billing schedule will shift to ensure you don’t lose paid time

Example:
– You’re billed fortnightly. You suspend from 8 Sep to 21 Sep.
– Your access continues until 8 Sep.
– Your next debit is moved to resume after 21 Sep.

Important Notes

  • A suspension is not a cancellation. If you want to cancel, submit your request at www.5ew.com.au/cancellations/
  • It is the member’s responsibility to manage suspension dates (including the end date you submit). Billing automatically resumes based on the end date you choose
  • We may send courtesy reminders as a customer service measure, but members must not rely on reminders as a requirement or obligation
  • If you don’t receive a suspension confirmation email within 7 business days, contact support@5ew.com.au
  • Want to return early? Email support@5ew.com.au and we’ll help reactivate your membership
    • You won’t have access to the facility including (if applicable) 24hr/unstaffed access or included services during suspension. If you attend during this period, non-member rates may apply
  • If you submit a cancellation request while your membership is on suspension, the suspension will end as of the cancellation request date and the membership will reactivate for the required 14-day cancellation notice period
